WINE FOR BEER LOVERS

IF YOU ARE A BEER LOVER, WE FOUND THE WINES YOU WILL LOVE ACCORDING TO THE BEER YOU LOVE.
Wine for beer lovers

Are you a fan of beer, but you want to experiment with wine, too? Read below and find the wine that suits your taste according to your favorite beer!

If you prefer lager beers I suggest you try something light, with refreshing acidity like a sparkling wine like Cuvee Speciale by Domaine Karanikas. If you are a pilsner type, then you probably want a spicy wine, with mild bitterness and acidity like Moschofilero (Tomi, Troupis Winery). Choose an oaky and creamy Chardonnay, like Ca c'est correct, to replace your beloved Weiss where yeast flavors, oily texture and medium (+) body will completely satisfy you.

Let's go to Ale's category now. You can replace your Red ale with a dry Sherry Amontillado or even Paliokairisio from Glinavos Estate. Its oxidized aromas and notes of nuts and malt will remind you of your favorite beer. The citrus aromas and the herbal notes that make you love IPA, exist in generous doses in a cold climate Sauvignon Blanc. Try Sauvignon blanc from Domaine Hatzigeorgiou and you’ll thank me later.

And now we get to the bold beers. Bitter beers, full of coffee notes like Porters find a perfect match in bold red wines, with high tannins like Tannat or Syrah, like that from Domaine Florian. If you prefer Stout beers with the full body, the smoky scents and chocolate notes then choose a rich Merlot like this from Mpougiouris Wines.
