PORK STEW WITH PAPRIKA

A QUICK RECIPE THAT WILL NOT KEEP YOU IN THE KITCHEN FOR LONG! THE RESULT WILL SURELY REWARD YOU AND EXCITE YOUR COMPANY WITHOUT GETTING YOU TIRED AT ALL!

INGREDIENTS

  • 600 gr pork, cut into cubes
  • olive oil for sautéing
  • 2 cloves of garlic, melted
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 600 ml of chicken stock (Alternatively 1 cube of chicken stock disolved in 500 ml of water)
  • 5 tsps. of paprika
  • 1 tsp. of cayenne pepper
  • 150 ml of cream
  • 1 tbsp. corn flour

INSTRUCTIONS

In a pan, sauté the onion, the garlic and the cayenne pepper in olive oil until the onion is softened.

Add the pork and sauté it to a high heat until it’s golden on all sides. Reduce the heat and cook for another 5 minutes until the meat is cooked well.

Add broth, paprika and let it shimmer in low heat until the sauce is thick and reduced (to 1/3, about 15 minutes).

Add the cream and let it boil for another 5 minutes.

Mix the corn flour with some water and add it to the sauce to thicken.

Serve with fried rice or fries
