The Great Days of Nemea 2026 return renewed! Celebrating 22 years of presence, the beloved wine festival continues to grow and attract numerous wine enthusiasts from Greece and abroad. Once again, the heart of the Greek vineyard beats in Nemea, inviting all of us to discover countless expressions of Agiorgitiko — from fresh single‑varietal labels to aged vintages and “alternative” blends.
This year’s event features almost all wineries from the 17 villages of the country’s largest viticultural zone. Their doors will be open to the public, offering the opportunity to taste and purchase exceptional PDO Nemea wines, while the program is enriched with unique parallel events.
A special musical evening awaits the audience at 21:00, with the acclaimed performer Giota Negka taking the stage for a unique concert. With her distinctive voice and authentic passion, she will take attendees on a journey through beloved songs and major hits, in an atmospheric encounter filled with rhythm and culture.
11:30 – 17:00 Discover the Wines of Nemea at the Grove of Saint George
An open tasting experience to explore the richness and diversity of the Nemea vineyard. The event is curated and presented by Kostas Provatas Dip WSET, guiding the audience through the secrets and special characteristics of the local wines.
The presentation will take place at the Grove of Saint George and admission is free.
12:00 – Riedel on Rails – The Glass Elevates the Wine, Masterclass at Palivou Estate
Sommelier and founder of Genius in Gastronomy, Giorgos Loukas, invites you to a unique tasting experience inside the entirely original environment of the Palivou Wine Train. Through the tasting of selected exceptional wines in top‑tier RIEDEL glasses, the decisive role of the proper glass shape in highlighting the aromas and flavor of each label is revealed.
The Masterclass will feature Sauvignon Blanc, Assyrtiko, Chardonnay, Nemea, Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, and Pinot Noir from outside Nemea.

The journey returns to the heart of Nemea, at Saint George Square, for the ultimate culmination of the Great Days with a special outdoor celebration full of surprises. The audience will enjoy non‑stop themed tastings from all wineries of the zone, impressive live cooking, and a dynamic DJ set that sets the tone — offering the chance for relaxed conversations with producers and new wine discoveries with a glass in hand.

20:00 – “Between Gods and Vineyards” at Konstantinos Peppas Square (Plokari Fountain)
On Saturday, September 5, in the heart of Ancient Nemea, a unique tasting evening will be held featuring six distinctive wines of the local vineyard, along with original wine challenges.
